The database was launched in July 2023. It contains the laws, regulations and other measures related to sanctions against the DPRK, such as national legislations, measures for national enforcement and international agreements. The data provides information on the current DPRK sanctions regimes, including a short description of imposed measure, date of adoption, classification and link to its original source.
The dataset was curated by Yerim Seo, ONN Research Consultant, and reviewed by independent external experts. The database is updated as of 1 July 2023.
To restrict further the export to the DPRK of petroleum, if the DPRK conducts a further nuclear test or a launch of a ballistic missile system capable of reaching intercontinental ranges or contributing to the development of a ballistic missile system capable of such ranges.
To apply the measures of preventing entry specified in paragraph 8(e) of UNSC resolution 1718 to the individuals listed in Annex I of this resolution and to individuals acting on their behalf or at their direction.
To additionally designate 19 entities for asset freeze that are involved in DPRK's nuclear-related, ballistic missile-related or other weapons of mass destruction-related programmes, and other prohibited activities by the UNSC resolutions.

To prohibit the export of refined petroleum products and crude oil. Except for the export which is exclusively for livelihood purposes and unrelated to the DPRK’s nuclear or ballistic missile programmes or other activities prohibited by UNSC resolutions, with approval from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.
To prohibit the import of seafood (including fish, crustaceans, mollusks and other aquatic invertebrates in all forms).
To prohibit the export of aviation fuel, including aviation gasoline, naptha type jet fuel, kerosene type jet fuel, and kerosene type rocket fuel. Except for the sale of aviation fuel in case the Committee has approved in advance and in case for civilian passenger aircraft to consume during its flight to or from the DPRK.
To prohibit the import of textiles, including fabrics and apparel products.
To additionally designate 9 entities and 26 individuals for asset freeze that are involved in DPRK's nuclear-related, ballistic missile-related or other weapons of mass destruction-related programmes, and other prohibited activities by the UNSC resolutions.
To designate individuals for financial sanctions who contributed to the DPRK's ballistic missile and weapons of mass destruction programmes.

To confiscate items found during inspections carried out pursuant to paragraph 1(в) of the Executive Order № 871 of 02.12.2013 which are prohibited pursuant to the Executive Order № 665 of 27.05.2007, № 381 of 27.03.2010, № 871 of 02.12.2013, № 729 of 29.12.2016 and this order, and to destroy them if necessary.
To ban transit movement through the territory of the Russian Federation of luxury goods listed in Appendix No. 5.
To prohibit any person that is owned or controlled by a US financial institution and established or maintained outside the US from knowingly engaging in any transaction with the DPRK government or any designated person for the imposition of sanctions described in § 510.201(a)(3)(vii) through (ix) and under an applicable Executive order or an applicable UNSC resolution.
